About the listings
Listings checked on Nov 3, 2026 against MPCA's license records
Where they come from
Every listing comes from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's public records of septic (SSTS) business licenses. We list each business that held a current license when we last pulled the records: its name, the city and county of its mailing address, its phone number, its license types, its license number and when the license runs out. We do not list the people who work there, emails or street addresses.
The county is where MPCA has the business's mailing address. MPCA notes that licensed businesses may work anywhere in Minnesota, so a business may serve many counties.
What a listing means
Only that the business held a current MPCA license on the date above. It is not an endorsement or a recommendation by MPCA or by us. We do not check work quality, insurance or reviews. Always confirm a license on MPCA's license search before you hire.
No business pays to be listed. Businesses are shown in alphabetical order, and payment never changes that. If we ever sell featured spots, they will be labeled "Featured" (see how it works).
How often they are checked
We check the listings against MPCA's records about once a month. A business whose license expires drops off at the next check.
Claim, fix or remove a listing
Every listing has a "Claim this listing" and a "Request a correction" link. Both open a short form that comes to us by email.
- Claim your listing to confirm your details, or to ask about getting quote requests from homeowners in your area.
- Wrong name, phone or license details? Those come from MPCA, so please update them with MPCA too (call 651-296-6300 and ask for the SSTS licensing coordinator, or email [email protected]). Tell us what is wrong and we fix it here right away.
- Want your listing removed? Pick "Remove this listing" on the form and we take it down.
